Whenever it’s time to celebrate in Vegas, you can expect plenty of extreme parties, VIPs and lots of sunshine fun. You can also expect long lines and pricey admission tickets, as people flock to town for virtually every holiday of the year.
But in the end, it’ll all be worth it – holiday celebrations in Vegas are a must-do.
So let’s have a look at some major holidays of the year, and where you can find the best celebrations hot spots.
Las Vegas New Years Eve
New Year’s Eve in Vegas is undoubtedly the busiest holiday of the year. When it comes to partying, it’s no holds barred all through the night and on into January 1st.
If you want to be in the center of it all, and you’re ready to brave one of the biggest NYE celebrations in the world, head over to the Bellagio. To give you an idea of the enormity of their NYE fete, they typically serve over 900 bottles of bubblyat the infamous holiday celebration!
If you want to avoid the mayhem on the Strip, try the Palms. At Ghostbar, you’ll have incredible views of all the action from the gorgeous 5th-floor patio. As an alternative, there’s the Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip, where there’s always a party to be had.
Halloween in Vegas
If Halloween is the one day of the year when you can act a fool, then it might be the most “Vegas-y” holiday of the year.
For Halloween, we love going to the Vanity Nightclub at the Hard Rock for their yearly spooktacular. It truly puts the Sin in Sin City.
4th of July in Vegas
What would the 4th be without a spectacular Fireworks display? There are plenty to choose from here, but we recommend the Fireworks at Caesars Palace. Their independence show is epic, with shots fired from the Julius Tower, lasting almost 14 minutes. Hang out at the fountains at Caesars for the best views.
Las Vegas Labor Day Weekend
In the rest of the country, Labor Day is a celebration that can be tinged with sadness that the glory days of summer have come to an end. The beauty of Vegas though, is that the summer vibe lasts all year round. But that doesn’t mean we don’t throw down on the last official weekend of summer. If the Las Vegas Labor Day 2016 was any indication, Labor Day 2017 in Vegas is going to be one for the ages.
For any labor day, we’re partial to a rocking pool party. There’s nothing better than the “Las Vegas’ Original Pool Party “ at Tao Beach. They’ve been open for over a decade, and they’ve been pumping nonstop ever since.
Memorial Day Weekend in Vegas
Memorial Day is always a madhouse. Lines are long, and hotel check-ins can take hours. Once you get settled though, you’re going to be glad you waited it out. It’ll be scorching outside, but don’t let that dissuade you from chilling at one of the many party perfect pools around town.
Check out the Rockstar Pool Party Tour. This adults-only excursion is the ultimate way to chillax as you herald the start of the summer. Just remember, stay hydrated out there!
We’re all about the celebration hot spots. This short list is just a start, with no end to party options on any holiday throughout the year here in Vegas.
