Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC): What You Need to Know

Every year, Electric Daisy Carnival gets bigger, brighter, and bolder. 2017 will see 230 of the most popular dance music acts in one place, including Afrojack, Diplo, Kygo, and — for the first time — Porter Robinson and Martin Garrix. Here’s what you need to know before you go to EDC.

Electric Daisy Carnival 2017 Lineup

This year, the always-dazzling EDC festival has announced a complete lineup of performers across the entire dance music spectrum, from Aazar to Zomboy.

Highlights include Axwell ^ Ingrosso, Duke Dumont Galantis, Hardwell, Major Lazer, and Tiësto.

There’s something for everyone. Out of the hundreds of DJs and producers appearing at EDC, some are emerging artists, while many are established stars. All of them promise to be spectacular.

EDC Festival is One Giant Party

As one of the most eye-popping music festivals on the planet, EDC Vegas is as much about the spectacle as the music. With breathtaking special effects, earthshaking pyrotechnics, eight stages, and roaming artist cars, it’s become the must-see event for dance music fans.

EDC Dates: When is EDC Las Vegas 2017?

EDC dates this year are June 16, 17, and 18, rain or shine.

Where does EDC Las Vegas take place?

EDC takes place at the Las Vegas motor Speedway.

The easiest way to get there is to take the official EDC Shuttle from the strip or downtown Las Vegas. It’s actually cheaper than parking, and it includes security pre-check.

Get Your EDC Tickets Before They’re Gone

EDC tickets go fast, especially in June. You’ve been warned. Early Owl general admission tickets are already sold out, and Later Owl tickets aren’t far behind, so get yours while you still can.

Then there’s the VIP question. Is it worth paying twice the price for EDC VIP tickets? That depends. Do you want to get twice the Electric Daisy festival experience?

For starters, VIP tickets give you faster, easier access to the show. You’ll also get access to dedicated viewing decks, dance areas and lounge, plus complementary body paint, beauty bar, oxygen bar, and other favorites. And don’t forget the special VIP activities: Ferris wheel, ball pit, giant Jenga, pool tables, ping-pong, pretty much everything you need to make your weekend epic.

No matter how you get to EDC 2017, it promises to be unforgettable. The only question is: will you be there?
